ABOUT USWhat is Keio SFC Academic Society?
Keio SFC Academic Society is a society that aims to promote research and educational activities for the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) consisting of the Faculty of Policy Management, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care, Graduate School of Media and Governance, and Graduate School of Health Management, and to deepen the interaction between SFC and the outside world. Keio SFC Academic Society comprises of, in principle, full members, associate members, and student members from the above three faculties and two graduate schools to support research and educational activities at SFC.

KEIO SFC JOURNAL
KEIO SFC JOURNAL is published twice a year to present achievements in academic research at SFC. A special theme is selected for every issue, in addition to that, we accept general papers as well.

Keio SFC Academic Society publishes KEIO SFC REVIEW aimed at conducting public relations of SFC, beginning from an introduction to SFC to reports on the most recent activities of teaching staff and students. It is also aimed at supporting the networking among SFC alumni and the related parties.

We will publish various works, such as research memorandums and research monographs that announce the results of research and educational activities. We will also publish research society papers with honors, master theses with honors, and doctoral theses with honors.

Keio SFC Academic Society established a foundation in 2003 to offer research grants to SFC faculty members, SFC undergraduate and graduate students, and other members of the Society. Since then, it has supported research activity by members, expanding the range of activities covered.

Keio SFC Academic Society organizes the annual meeting (Keio SAS) for our members. Faculties, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students are invited to present their papers based upon their research activities.

Keio SFC Academic Society archives the last lectures of retiring faculty members. Other members can also archive their last lectures if a recommendation from the Chairman or through considerations held by the Organizing Committee is submitted.

Board members are careful to avoid bias toward any particular program.
